Gone are the days when marijuana use was considered taboo. Today, states are legalizing the recreational use of the herb while others are already allowing medical marijuana. This is giving rise to a boom in the number of Cannabis Startups launching throughout the United States.

With April being the National Cannabis Awareness Month, expect more people to become conscious of the growing acceptance of recreational and medical marijuana use. This will also give rise to the launch of more and more Cannabis Startups.

The changing public perception on cannabis has inspired the following entrepreneurs to cash in on the growing cannabis business:

Eaze

The on-demand pot delivery industry is booming. San Francisco-based Eaze is one of those startups looking to become the Uber of marijuana delivery.  Founded by Keith McCarty in 2014, Eaze has gotten more than $10 million in venture funding.

The promise of the firm to its clients is simple—high quality, legal weed that is delivered to their doorsteps in less than 20 minutes. The firm has delivered weed to more than a hundred thousand medical marijuana patients in major California cities.

Bud+Breakfast

Bud+Breakfast was founded by Joel Schneider, who was a Wall Street lawyer for 30 years. He got the inspiration after years of having to hide from the rest of the public just to smoke pot.

Today, he has three Bud+Breakfast hotels in Colorado which accommodates pot users looking for a luxurious place to smoke weed. The first hotel he established is a 7,000 square foot home built by the end of the 18th century. It has six suites with fully stocked bar. Some of his clients are musicians and retired athletes.

AcroVape

Founded in 2015, AcroVape produces a battery-powered vaporizer.  CEO Jeremy Campas says their vaporizer provides cannabis users with a safe, fresh tasting, and smooth hitting dab.

Campas adds that their vaporizer appeals to cannabis owners because of its portability. It can fit in the smallest male bubblers, as well as the larger female species.

AcroVape is one of the nine startups included in last year’s Berkeley’s Canopy program. The said program is a 16-week entrepreneurial boot camp designed to raise capital for the firms and enable them to expand into the thriving marijuana market in California.

Printabowl

This Seattle-based firm creates weed smoking accessories using 3D printing. Its smoking systems are so beautiful that weed users won’t likely have second thoughts putting them on display, rather than hiding them under their beds.

The company was founded by art enthusiasts Al and Saul Jacobs, who are both in their 20s.

PreciseCannabis

Even PR practitioners are hopping into the weed bandwagon.

PreciseCannabis are positioning themselves as marketing and media experts for the cannabis industry. It has offices in LA and San Francisco. It provides services like content production, copywriting, and social media branding to businesses in the cannabis industry.

PreciseCannabis says it can help fellow potpreneurs to maximize their brand recognition, so they can increase sales and improve their relationships with customers.

As you can see, the weed industry is attracting a lot of interest and inspiring the launch of all types of Cannabis Startups. From pot delivery to beautiful pot smoking systems to hotels where potheads can smoke till the dawn, there are many entrepreneurs who are cashing in on the thriving weed industry.
